While currently unfinished, this apothecary style American black walnut sofa table is designed to hold three rows of nine drawers, each perfectly sized for CD storage. Without the drawers, it also suggests a wine storage rack... so, it's future has yet to be decided… The walnut’s natural ash hue has been warmed up with amber dye, then finished with tinted garnet shellac.

African Mahogany Tack Trunk / Blanket Chest

This African Mahogany (Khaya) trunk was made for an equestrian auction to benefit the Lukemia and Lyphoma Society. Originally intended as a tack trunk, the piece was too fine for the barn… Ultimately, it is being used as a blanket chest. It is constructed of dramatically striped African mahogany (Khaya), with an aromatic cedar bottom and solid brass hardware.
